This Policy discloses the privacy practices for the Company’s website (“Site”) and the Cafecitos mobile ordering application (“App”), as well as related products and services we may offer to you (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy is designed to be read in connection with our Terms of Use, and by accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by both.

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by updating the information on this page.

Information We Collect Through Our Website

The only personal information we collect through the Site is the name, phone number, and email address you voluntarily provide when you submit a catering or wholesale inquiry (or otherwise contact us). The Site does not require you to create an account, and we do not collect or store any payment or credit card information through the Site.

Information We Collect Through Our Mobile App

The Cafecitos mobile App lets you order ahead, pay, and earn loyalty rewards. To provide these features, the App collects and uses the following information:

• Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and phone number. We use your phone number to sign you in securely through a one-time passcode (OTP) sent by text message.
• Payment information.Payments in the App are processed by Square, our third-party payment processor. When you pay, your card details are entered into and handled by Square’s secure systems. We do not receive or store your full card number or security code on our servers. For your order history and to enable faster reordering, we retain only limited, non-sensitive details such as the card brand and the last four digits, along with a secure token provided by Square.
• Order information.We keep a record of the orders you place through the App — the items, amounts (as calculated by Square), and order status — so you can view your order history, track an order, and reorder.
• Loyalty information.If you participate in our loyalty program, we maintain your points balance and reward activity through Square’s loyalty service.
• Push notification token. If you enable notifications, your device provides a push token that we use solely to send you order updates, such as when your order should be ready. You can turn notifications off at any time in the App or in your device settings.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• respond to your catering, wholesale, or general inquiries submitted through the Site;
• create and secure your App account and sign you in;
• process your orders and payments and provide your order history and receipts;
• operate our loyalty and rewards program;
• send you order-status notifications you have opted into; and
• communicate with you about your orders or inquiries.

We do not use your information for anything else, and we do not sell it.

SMS Communications

By providing your phone number through our website, in the App, or at our point of sale, you consent to receive SMS text messages from Cafecitos Espresso Bar, LLC. These messages may include one-time passcodes to sign in to the App, order updates, responses to your inquiries, and requests for feedback about your experience. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of non-essential messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Note that one-time passcodes are required to sign in to the App; if you opt out of these, you may be unable to access your account.

Third-Party Service Providers

We share information only with the service providers that help us operate the Services, and only as needed to provide them:

• Square— payment processing, order management, and loyalty rewards.
• Supabase— secure storage of your account and order data.
• Twilio— delivery of one-time passcode and notification text messages.
• Expo— delivery of push notifications to your device.

These providers are permitted to use your information only to perform services for us. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. We may, on rare occasions, be required by law enforcement or judicial authorities to disclose information to the appropriate governmental authorities.

We Only Collect Information You Provide or That Is Needed to Provide the Services

We do not collect personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it — by filling out a form, contacting us, or creating an account and using the App. We do not collect your location, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking.

Your Rights and Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may delete your account, at any time by contacting us using the details below. When you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify the personal information associated with it, except where we are required to retain certain records (for example, transaction records) by law. You can also manage notification permissions directly in the App or your device settings.

Security of Your Personal Information

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure, consistent with current industry standards, and we rely on established providers such as Square and Supabase to safeguard payment and account data. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Children

The Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use the App. We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
